THE ORDER OF RECEIVING FOREIGN CITIZENS IN THE TASHKENT MEDICAL ACADEMY
In accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On improving the procedure for admission and training of foreign citizens in educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan” from 2008 on August 4, No. 169 and the statute on the basis of this decree, foreign citizens are admitted to the Tashkent Medical Academy (TMA) .
Foreign citizens for admission to study in TMA submit the following documents:
– Application for admission in the name of the Rector with the indication of the name, nationality and direction of education;
– National passport (with valid visa) or birth certificate;
– Residence permit in Uzbekistan (if available);
– Originals and notarized copies of documents on education, indicating the subjects studied and the grades (marks) received on them in examinations;
– Medical opinion on the state of health (086 form);
– Photographs (size 3.5 x 4.5) – 6 pieces.
Documents of foreign citizens are accepted only when presenting a national civil passport and a copy.
At the same time, if a foreign citizen has a residence permit in the Republic of Uzbekistan, then a copy of the residence certificate in the Republic of Uzbekistan is also submitted to the admission committee with a copy of the civil passport. These citizens are considered foreign citizens residing in the Republic of Uzbekistan and therefore they will also hand over documents strictly in order.
Foreign citizens are admitted to study only on a contract basis. They make payment specified for foreign citizens. Foreign citizens pay for their studies in the equivalent of foreign currency, in accordance with the specified exchange rate of the national currency of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan. At the same time, foreign citizens must provide a receipt and a bank certificate of conversion.
For foreign citizens who have a certificate of residence in the Republic of Uzbekistan, these above requirements do not apply.
On the basis of Article 4 of the Law on Education in the Republic of Uzbekistan, persons who had a “Certificate of Residence in the Republic of Uzbekistan, but did not have citizenship” are excluded from all the above requirements and accepted (documents, payment) as national citizens.
